Introducing Matthew Tolchard…
No.11 Cavendish Square is delighted to welcome our new Head of Commercial Activities, Matthew Tolchard. Matthew joined the team back at the end of August and has taken no time at all to settle into his new role at our stunning, central London venue.
Former Director of Sales at The Rubens at The Palace Hotel, Hotel 41 and BBar, Matthew has an impressive track record in the hospitality industry. His career to date includes experience in 5 star hotels in the UK and overseas. His record and reputation as someone truly committed to customer care echoes our values here at No.11 Cavendish Square.
Matthew’s role requires him to oversee the facilities team to ensure our internal and external clients have all their needs met. His impact on the team, even this early on in his job, is clear to see. He strives to add value to all of our clients and guests at every opportunity in order to increase the satisfaction of everyone who steps foot in our venue.
“I soon learnt what makes No.11 Cavendish Square different from other Venues around London,” says Matthew. “Being an independent venue fighting the big competitors for business, we will never have the same Sales and Marketing spend as them. It is my belief that we need to make an even better job of taking care of our clients. We focus on earning clients' business, ensuring that our teams are trained to deliver the thousands of individual standards which go into making a brilliant event. From there we develop great relationships, making sure that we tailor our outstanding service to fully match the need of our guests.”
Matthew’s appointment is one of the ways No.11 Cavendish Square is planning on keeping up the hard work and dedication it’s taken to achieve our AIM Higher – Gold Accreditation. This is the second year running we’ve received the award. It’s the Meeting Industry Association’s highest accolade which recognises excellence amongst venues and service providers.
