The right lunch for your event
Our in-house caterer, Dish, is well-known for the quality of its food and service, but what sometimes surprises organisers, is the huge range of menu styles they have on offer. Sharing boards, buffets, bowl food and barbecues to name but a few. So how do you choose the best catering style for you lunch event? Let us guide you through the options…
If time is precious and you want to combine an effective meeting with lunch, then this is the menu for you. The options are Deli-Style Lunch, Artisan Planks, Boxed Salads and Wraps and Salad Working Lunches.
The dishes on these menus vary hugely from Honey-roasted breast of duck, sweet potato, fig, orange and chicory salad and Goan-spiced griddled tiger prawns to Cold cuts of British meats and Roast turkey, piquillo pepper, avocado and hummus – ciabatta. The thing that unites all of these dishes is flavour. Our chefs have concentrated their efforts on creating dishes that taste exceptional but won’t make your guests uncomfortably full, so they can concentrate on your agenda.
To keep your attendees even more focused on matters at hand, opt for the superfood menu as part of an all-day event or conference. Carefully crafted from ingredients that boost the mood and energy of your invitees, this menu option will provide the right fuel to help your guests reach their potential for the afternoon’s sessions.
Dishes include Lemongrass and miso-poached salmon with pickled cucumber, soba noodles and pink sushi ginger and Curly kale, chicory, roasted almond and honey dressed baby beets. As well as giving you better results from your meeting, your attendees will also really appreciate you trying to help them stay healthy.
Formal Dining Menu
Sometimes a lunch is about taking time to enjoy good food, drink and company and shop talk takes a backseat. If you’re looking to treat clients, staff or even friends and family to special meal, we can promise you a fine-dining experience you’ll all remember for years to come. With mains including Pan-fried Cornish cod – langoustine, lemon and hen’s egg risotto with parsley oil and desserts like Lavender honey panna cotta – balsamic-pickled plum and oat crumble, your guests will be in no doubt about how much you value their attendance.
Networking lunches work brilliantly if you can create an informal and relaxed environment, and what better way to get people feeling social than with a barbecue? Alfresco dining is one of the summer’s highlights and our From the Market menu will create a talking point as well as giving your guests a delicious meal.
The Bourbon BBQ slow-cooked beef brisket carvery, Classic oyster bar and Chocolate fondue bar with marshmallow and seasonal fruit skewers will turn your barbecue into an event. Introducing an element of theatre to proceedings will definitely help break the ice and forge new friendships between your guests.
