Accessibility
Everyone should be able to enjoy our beautiful venue, so we’re continually working towards making No. 11 Cavendish accessible to all.
Accessing the venue
You’ll find the main entrance to No. 11 Cavendish in Dean’s Mews, where there’s step-free access. We’re wheelchair friendly, with level access to all areas at the Ground Floor Level and lift access to all floors. The Burdett Theatre is equipped with a large stage area that has a mobile accessibility lift that can be installed on request.
Accessible parking
We have one accessible parking space located immediately outside our main entrance in Dean’s Mews. This space is controlled and managed by Westminster City Council and can be used on a first-come, first-served basis. You can find other accessible parking bays nearby on the Blue Badge Parking website.
Accessible toilet facilities
You can find accessible toilets on the lower ground floor, ground floor, first and second floors – in total there are six fully accessible toilets in the venue. One of these has baby changing facilities. Accessible toilets are also available on the same floor as the President’s Suite.
Induction loops
We have an induction loop system available in our main reception, the Library, Burdett Theatre, Maynard Theatre, Marlborough Theatre, Edwards Room and Maxwell Room.
Lifts
All our venue spaces have step-free access provided by lifts. All our lifts all have audible floor indicator systems installed.
Guide dogs
We’re happy to welcome guide dogs to the venue, but please let us know in advance.
Front of house staff
All our reception and front of house staff are trained in general disability awareness.
