We realise when booking an event you may have numerous questions but may forget to ask when speaking to one of the team or during a site visit, to assist with this and ensure nothing is missed we have devised a list of the most frequently asked questions along with a short explanation of our practices and policies.

What is the maximum number of guests you can have at a reception, event or party?
We have various spaces in the venue that are suitable for evening events, these differ in size and style depending on your requirements.

Do you have an outdoor space, and can you smoke in it?
We have a courtyard garden enclosed by a beautiful living wall and water feature, this space can only be utilised when booking The Orangery and can hold up to a maximum of 80 guests at any one time.
Smoking is not permitted in the Courtyard Garden or anywhere else in the venue.
Can I bring my own suppliers for branding/decorating?
Clients are welcome to bring in their own suppliers to brand/decorate the space, but health and safety documentation and approval from management may be required depending on your requirements.
When planning your event please take into consideration the time required for set-up and breakdown, if additional time is required for these activities please speak to your event manager to ensure this is possible.
Do you have a PA system, and can we have DJs/live musicians?
All our spaces suitable for evening events have built in PA systems that are perfect for playing background music. The easiest and most popular way is to stream a playlist from a Spotify account which can be connected via cable/Bluetooth to the PA system (please be aware we do not supply a Spotify account).
Microphones are available in all spaces suitable for evening events, please discuss with your event manager how many are required before your event takes place.
We are happy for DJs and live musicians to play in the venue. However, before the event we will require a risk assessment, method statement, PAT testing and company public liability. Please note that entertainment set-ups will change the capacity of the room.

Do you supply security and cloakroom attendants?
We provide a private cloakroom with all our evening spaces. As standard our cloakrooms are unmanned, however if a cloakroom attendant is required this can be arranged at an additional cost. Please speak to your Event Manager for details.
Security guards are required for evening events, for every 80 guests we require 1 security guard. Please discuss costs with your event manager.
Can we bring in our own catering?
We have an exclusive contract with Searcys and offer an extensive range of menus. However, if you are looking for a bespoke menu please speak to your event manager who can arrange a meeting with our executive chef to discuss your requirements. Our executive chef and his team have produced outstanding menus drawn from cuisine from around the world.
